Terms of service

Access to, and/or use of Paintmap.com is entirely voluntary and free of charge. Violation of any of the terms below will result in the termination of your right to use the paintmap site, and any account that you may have created as part of the service. You agree to use the paintmap site at your own risk.

Registration Data; Account Security

In consideration of your use of the Site, you agree to
(a) maintain the security of your password and identification;
(b) be fully responsible for all use of your account and for any actions that take place using your account.

Proprietary Rights in Content on Paintmap.

Paintmap does not claim any ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, works of authorship, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") that you post on or through the Paintmap Services. After posting your Content to the Paintmap Services, you continue to retain any such rights that you may have in your Content, subject to the limited license herein. By displaying or publishing ("posting") any Content on or through the Paintmap Services, you hereby grant to Paintmap a limited license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content solely on or through the Paintmap Services, including without limitation distributing part or all of the Paintmap Website in any media formats and through any media channels. This limited license does not grant Paintmap the right to sell or otherwise distribute your Content outside of the Paintmap Services. After you remove your Content from the Paintmap Website we will cease distribution as soon as practicable, and at such time when distribution ceases, the license will terminate.

The license you grant to Paintmap is non-exclusive (meaning you are free to license your Content to anyone else in addition to Paintmap), fully-paid and royalty-free (meaning that Paintmap is not required to pay you for the use on the Paintmap Services of the Content that you post), sublicensable (so that Paintmap is able to use its affiliates, subcontractors and other partners such as Internet content delivery networks and wireless carriers to provide the Paintmap Services), and worldwide (because the Internet and the Paintmap Services are global in reach).

You represent and warrant that: (i) you own the Content posted by you on or through the Paintmap Services or otherwise have the right to grant the license set forth in this Section, and (ii) the posting of your Content on or through the Paintmap Services does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person or entity. You agree to pay for all royalties, fees, and any other monies owing any person or entity by reason of any Content posted by you on or through the Paintmap Services.

Paintmap respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us.

User conduct

As a condition of use, you promise not to use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or any other purpose not reasonably intended by Paintmap

We may limit or terminate our service, remove hosted content and take technical and legal steps to keep users off Paintmap if we think that they are creating problems or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies.

Modification of these Terms of Use

We reserve the right to alter these Terms of Use at any time in our sole discretion. We recommend that you periodically check this Site for changes.
