This beautiful mezquita (seen here from the Jamma El-Fna square) was finished in 1199 by Yacub el-Mansur after the demolition of a previous one because it was not correctly oriented towards the holy city of La Meca. You may guess the fate of the first mezquita builder, being so close to the Jamma El-Fna square...
